Benchmarking Face-to-Face activity

No other form of fundraising has as comprehensive a set of benchmarking as face-to-face fundraising. Analysing sets of data supplied by charities in a uniform way (every charity is able to count the number of payments made by their donors) gives the entire sector an extremely valuable benchmark, from which the impact of the many, many different variables that drive attrition & retention can be tested.

Morag and Rupert present the results of the PFRA’s annual DARS (donor Attrition & Retention Survey) at key fundraising events such as the PFRA AGM & the Institute of Fundraising’s National Convention (IOF) [http://www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk] which is held in July every year. The survey was first conducted in 2008 and is widening in scope and audience each year
